PCR stands for Post-Consumer Recycled, which means the plastic has been recovered after its initial use, then cleaned and reprocessed to create new packaging. PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) is a global organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management. In practice, it ensures that the paper used in our cartons comes from responsibly managed forests that are continually replenished, with attention paid to both environmental care and the communities that depend on those forests. By selecting PEFC-certified paper, we’re contributing to efforts that help maintain biodiversity, conserve habitats, and support local economies—reflecting our broader mission to do right by people and the planet.
